Student Only Virtual Training

Six times a year the Sumrok Students gather either in person or virtually to learn about industry updates, deep dive into underwriting, expand knowledge on asset management and everything else that goes into apartment investing. We just gathered virtually on Saturday, January 20th! Our students heard from James Eng, National Director of Old Capital, for updates on multifamily loans and forecasting. Sumrok Coaches provided valuable insight to what their projects looked like the last 12 months and what they’re looking forward to for the next 12. Our students were also clued in on deals for sale by various Multifamily Brokers.

The extremely high occupancy in the submarket (96% to 100%), incredibly low delinquency (0.57%), and the sizable 20%+ pricing discount are what drew them to this asset. Their team is working on deploying approximately $4,000,000 in capex funds to bring this property to the next level.
